1. ALL THE LIES by Rina Kent
SYNOPSIS
When lies become the truth.
My name is Reina Ellis. Popular. Beautiful. Untouchable. Problem is, I remember none of it.
His name is Asher Carson. Gorgeous. Silent. Dark. Oh, and my future husband.
He has three rules for me:
I’ll bow.
I’ll break.
I’ll pay for what I’ve done.
Problem is, I don’t remember what I’ve done, but I have a clue. There was a fire. A dead girl. And I was there.
BOOK REVIEW
Rina Kent writes really twisted romances. And All the Lies was no exception. Weaved with the thrilling and compelling amnesia narratives, this enemies-to-lovers book took me on quite a bumpy but entertaining ride.
“You’re a psycho.”
“It takes one to know one, my ugly monster.”
Asher Carson was a broody and moody anti-hero with a tendency to exert dominance in every aspect of his disordered and bewildered life. He was quite a fascinating vortex of relentless torment and conceited but not concealed disinterest towards his supposed enemy slash worst addiction slash betrothed.
“You’re mine to screw and destroy, my ugly monster. It’s time to get used to that.”
Reina Ellis was a sassy and feisty heroine with overpowering confidence and determination to become a better version of herself despite her questionable and not admirable past. She was trapped in her lost memories, drowning in unanswerable uncertainties and mysteries. And Asher didn’t help her case at all, oftentimes making Reina’s attempts to cope with the new reality more complicated than they needed to be.
“Fuck, you taste like torture.”
The relationship between the two was filled with frustrating hate but scorching heat. The sexual tension was alluring and nearly exploding towards the end.
NOTE: The book was filled with angst to the max, and there was a very bad cliffhanger in the end, but the duet is complete now, no need to worry!
2. ALL THE TRUTHS by Rina Kent
SYNOPSIS
The truth doesn’t set you free.
Revenge shouldn’t be rushed. It needs to be savored. Reina ruined my life and it’s only fair I ruin hers back. Or that was the plan. That was before she got under my skin and flowed into my blood.
Life as we know it crashes and burns. All we have left is revenge. Or is it?
